How Does Filter Bed Work?
Filter Bed uses technology that involves using gravity to provide water pressure – otherwise also known as Gravity Fed System. In essence, the water will be at the top, and will eventually be pushed down by gravity to a base that is constructed at the bottom.

Activated Carbon

Zeolite

Different Types of Sand
Different sands will provide different levels of filtration. It is mainly used to remove particles and sediments inside the water. The choices of these sands are tricky as they cannot be materials that decrease water flow and pressure.

FRP Water Tanks
FRP stands for Fibre Reinforced Plastics, which can be categorized as a type of fiberglass. Fiberglasses are optimal for storing clean water, as they come with high-quality properties such as corrosion resistance and decent durability. It is also much more lightweight as compared to other materials such as Stainless Steel.
However, there is a downside to FRPs, which is that they tend to have a thinner outer layer that might cause algae to grow. If this happens, the water will not be safe to drink anymore. Frequent inspection and maintenance are essential for FRP tanks.
Stainless Steel Tanks
Stainless steel tanks are water tanks that are made out of stainless steel. Stainless steel has been the water industry’s “best friend”, as it has all the properties that are needed for a good water treatment process such as corrosion resistance, very durability, low maintenance and it is very strong.
However, the only downside it has is its weight. Stainless steel is not lightweight at all, which might result in overweight considerations.
